A Typical Week
Mon: AM9-1 Italian class. PM: Group gathering for lunch/yoga/journaling at the Bel Camino center.
Tue: AM9-1 Italian class. PM: Lunch on own followed by optional cultural seminar (in Italian) or free time for individual pursuits.
Wed: AM9-1 Italian class. PM: Lunch on own followed by an excursion to an inspiring Tuscan destination (monastery, village, castle, e.g.) every other week.
Thu: AM9-1 Italian class. PM: Lunch on own followed by occasional seminars or cultural activities (Italian movies or wine-tastings, e.g.) or free time for individual pursuits.
Fri: AM9-1 Italian class. PM: Free afternoon (in case of weekend travel, participants can leave AFTER class Friday).
Sat: Bel Camino hosts an excursion every other Saturday (alternate Saturdays are free) to a site of cultural interest in Tuscany or another province. Included among these trips are two overnighters, which depart on Friday afternoon and return Sunday evening.
Sun: Free. Time for: doing laundry, sketching the Duomo, skipping up to Florence to see the David, enjoying a Siena vs Perugia soccer match, chatting up an Italian coed at the corner café, sitting in the Campo reading Dante and sipping a cappuccino in the sunlight…
Though this is the schedule of a typical week in Siena, some changes in the schedule may, and are liable to, occur. Please be flexible!
